Lead Mental Health Services Coordinator

This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team providing person-centred care to individuals with complex mental health needs. As the lead coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver recovery-oriented mental health services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each consumer.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, occupational therapists, and social workers, to ensure that consumers receive holistic and compassionate care.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in mental health assessments and interventions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to service development through ongoing evaluation and feedback.

What You Will Need:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker.
  • Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or eligibility to be a member of the AASW.
  • Demonstrated skills in mental health assessments and interventions, as well as experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with consumers, carers, and community services.
  • Computer competence and literacy, including proficiency in database systems.
