**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Project Officer. The successful candidate will provide support to the National Cultural Heritage Committee, undertake research and analysis, and perform other tasks as required.

Main Responsibilities:

- Provide secretariat support to the National Cultural Heritage Committee, including drafting minutes and papers, and assisting with committee and expert examiner remuneration, recruitment, travel and reporting.
- Undertake research and respond to internal and external information requests, including gathering and analysing data, collating information, preparing reports, managing SmartyGrants processes and preparing ministerial briefs and other correspondence
- Perform other tasks as required, including administrative support in relation to the protection of foreign cultural material, assisting with governance support of National Cultural Institutions, and/or supporting the implementation and delivery of policies and programs announced in Revive.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have well-developed written and oral communication skills, analytical and research skills, and the ability to draft informative, accurate, timely briefs, reports and correspondence for a range of audiences. They will also have experience in internal and external stakeholder management, managing relationships across a range of stakeholders, and be able to work with a level of independence under limited supervision.
