The OpportunityWe seek a visionary Global Social Content Strategist to lead our organic social media presence across key platforms. This long-term role offers an exciting pathway for growth within our dynamic marketing team.
In this cross-functional position, you'll be the architect of global social content strategy that brings brand stories, campaigns, and product experiences to life across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Reporting to the Head of Content & Communications, you'll translate editorial, influencer, and product content into engaging platform-native experiences for global audiences.
The Role- Develop and own the global organic social strategy, aligning with business priorities and campaign activity.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Brand, eCommerce, PR, Product, and Performance Marketing) to plan and manage the social content calendar.
- Lead content ideation, briefing, production direction, and publishing — including video scripting, visual planning, and basic editing.
- Translate editorial, campaign, and influencer content into optimised formats for each platform.
- Oversee the rollout and repurposing of creative assets for multi-channel use.
- Partner with Performance Marketing to identify organic content for paid boosting and establish testing frameworks to optimise engagement and reach.
- Monitor performance metrics, interpret results, and recommend strategic adjustments.
- Collaborate with Influencer and PR teams to integrate influencer output into content planning, ensuring alignment with brand tone and messaging.
- Enable cross-team success by creating templates, toolkits, and social playbooks; stay across emerging social trends and AI-based tools.
- Collaborate with teams across eCommerce, Product, Retail, and Customer Service to meet business objectives and maintain a consistent voice.
- 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, content production, or digital marketing across lifestyle, retail, or design-driven brands.
- Deep experience managing multi-platform content calendars, with a flair for visual storytelling, video production, and editorial planning.
- Understanding of platform culture and ability to create native content that resonates and drives engagement.
- Confidence briefing and directing creators, influencers, and internal teams to deliver outstanding creative work.
- Proficiency in social analytics tools like Emplify to drive decisions, with a sharp ability to interpret performance data and test new strategies.
- Collaborative, organised, and adaptable mindset, comfortable working across departments to deliver consistent and impactful content.
- Proactive about innovation and exploration, particularly around AI and emerging tech in the content and social media space.
- Experience mentoring or managing a direct report is a plus.
