Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Specialist to design and develop essential control software that brings our physical switches to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design embedded software to manage and control hardware components, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to define software control interfaces and drive technical decisions.
  • Owning the quality of your work, build robust automated tests and test infrastructure to validate platform features, identifying and mitigating potential issues.
  • Provide technical leadership across features and projects, contributing to design specifications and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Work directly with Customer Support Engineers and customers to analyze, mitigate, and fix complex hardware-related software issues in the field, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (BSc, MS, or PhD).
  • Strong experience in C/C++ and/or Python in an embedded context, with a strong background in embedded systems software engineering, particularly on Unix/Linux platforms.
  • Applied understanding of software engineering principles, including version control, testing, and agile methodologies.
