We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in mechanical fitting.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term contract position, working 35 hours per week. You will be responsible for assisting qualified mechanical trades to learn and perform a wide range of fitting tasks, including assembling, repairing, and maintaining various components for plant machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow apprenticeship training agreements proactively with a strong emphasis on learning
  • Become actively involved within the inspection and packaging maintenance department
  • Assist qualified mechanical trades to learn and perform a wide range of fitting tasks
  • Strive to acquire the skills necessary to work autonomously
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned
