Paediatric Occupational Therapist Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Cairns. As a respected child development centre, we strive to provide inclusive and supportive services to children and families.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and families, fostering collaboration, continuous learning, and holistic support. They will be skilled at conducting assessments and developing tailored intervention plans for children with sensory, motor, and cognitive needs.

  • We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who can implement individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing daily functioning.
  • The successful applicant will collaborate with families and educators to support generalisation of therapy outcomes.
  • They will participate in regular team meetings and case reviews, documenting and reporting in line with professional and NDIS standards.

Our team consists of 10+ professionals, including OTs, speech pathologists, and early childhood educators. We offer a supportive work environment that prioritises staff wellbeing and growth.

We welcome applicants with experience in paediatric therapy (new grads also encouraged to apply). A degree in Occupational Therapy and full registration with AHPRA are required. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential, as well as strong organisational skills and a commitment to ethical, client-centred care.
