The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Indigenous Senior Project Officer to join our team at Monash University. As a key member of our DVC Research Portfolio, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality project management services to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate projects aligned with the strategic goals of the Indigenous Research Action Plan
  • Recruit and develop Indigenous Graduate Research students
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertake complex analysis
  • Ensure a compliant and safe research environment

As the Indigenous Senior Project Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring Indigenous perspectives, knowledge, and ways of being are creatively and successfully practiced in the delivery of high-level and professional research services. You will engage with Indigenous communities and stakeholders, project manage, coordinate, and facilitate community-based Indigenous staff members, and liaise with research teams.
