Lead Business Analyst Role Summary

This role plays a pivotal part in the UNITE team, driving business-led transformations and technology-enabled innovations. The primary goal is to develop 'one best way' for our processes, systems, and technology, making it easier for customers and employees alike.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Define and lead the associated scope in alignment with project objectives, desired business outcomes, and capabilities being delivered for large-scale projects.
  • Build effective working relationships, manage stakeholder resistance, and provide guidance and direction to team members.
  • Select and manage resources within a consolidated model that considers required capabilities, hybrid roles, spans of control, and levels of experience for complex projects or programs.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of requirements throughout large-scale projects independently, demonstrating the ability to structure and package requirements within complex workstreams.
  • Communicate effectively by tailoring the medium, audience, and content to suit the context, providing mentorship and guidance to others in communication best practices.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Business Analyst working in a large-scale complex environment.
  • Able to lead and influence the team while delivering on time and on target with competing priorities.
  • Extensive experience in business process improvement, data and systems analysis, and business case development.
  • Familiarity with Consumer finance, specifically Credit Card or Personal Loans.
  • Strong understanding of strategic and operational aspects of technology and business systems.
  • Experience with project management principles and practices, particularly within the financial services sector.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic environments where responsibilities and priorities may vary.
