This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to drive efforts to secure philanthropic support for University initiatives and community partnerships. As a Senior Development Manager (Indigenous), you will play a key role in advancing the University's Indigenous strategy, Murmuk Djerring.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of prospective major gift donors, focusing on securing gifts for Indigenous priorities
- Partner with senior academic and advancement colleagues to facilitate transformational multi-million gifts
- Engage with senior leaders in business and community to secure philanthropic and social impact grants
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Indigenous and non-Indigenous stakeholders to advance fundraising goals
About You
We seek a proactive individual with exceptional relationship-building skills and a commitment to Indigenous causes. Your ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and navigate complexity will be key to your success. You may come from a background in communications, sales, public relations, business and finance, the not-for-profit sector or other fields involving strong relationship-building.
