Vegetation Management Services Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Vegetation Management Support Officer.
Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating resources and approvals to achieve fuel management goals. This will involve liaising with various stakeholders, including staff, brigades, and external agencies, to facilitate planned burns and other fuel management activities.
- Coordinate Resources: Work closely with the District Vegetation Management Officer to achieve fuel management goals by coordinating resources.
- Liaise with Stakeholders: Communicate and collaborate with CFA staff and brigades on planned burning activities.
- Support Training: Assist in supporting fuel management training by collecting information and coordinating with instructors.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong Communication Skills: Develop a sound understanding of Planned Burning resource requirements.
- Compiling Information: Skilled in compiling information required for the development of Burn Plans.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and ability to show strong attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Good problem-solving skills and ability to forge and maintain productive inter-agency relationships.
