About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to join our national multi-sector team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction and professional services tendering, with a focus on Defence and Infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of contracting models and tendering requirements, with the ability to produce high-quality, compliant submissions within tight time frames. We are looking for a candidate based in Canberra or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage major tenders to produce high-quality and compliant submissions
  2. Work collaboratively with a large team of technical and proposal specialists
  3. Review content for completeness and accuracy, and work with Lead Authors and technical and commercial leaders to deliver high-quality outputs
  4. Meet tight and competing deadlines
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in proposal management and/or writing
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely
  • Established experience in the Defence sector
  • A degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a similar field
