About Us

CBGU JV brings together partners CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnels and Stations package for Brisbane's Cross River Rail. The project includes a 10.2-kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Rail Systems Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for leading the commissioning of our rail systems. This includes coordinating the handover and handback of the rail systems between the construction and commissioning teams, chairing readiness reviews with the package parties and client team, and developing and reviewing commissioning plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the handover and handback of the rail systems between the construction and commissioning teams.

  • Develop and review commissioning plans.
  • Accountable for the testing and commissioning of designated areas.
  • Evaluate compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Organize resourcing to support the testing schedule.
Requirements
  • A recognized degree in electrical, mechanical, or controls engineering-based discipline.
  • Member of Institution of Engineers Australia (IEAust) or Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ).
  • Relevant experience in project delivery at a senior level.
  • Ability to manage teams across the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated commercial experience, including project planning through the full project life cycle.
