Job Overview

The Deal Advisory Tax team is a leading, dynamic and fun team working on significant transactions in the Australian market. Our clients cover various sectors including Real Estate, Private Equity and Infrastructure.

We seek an experienced Senior Manager with expertise in Real Estate to join the team – someone with experience working with corporate clients and the drive to contribute to an energetic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structuring inbound investment deals, focusing on taxation of trusts / Managed Investment Trusts
  • Tax due diligence and transaction document review
  • Assist clients with tax compliance, preparing and/or reviewing trust and company tax returns
  • Analyse and research technical tax issues
  • Correspond with ATO and FIRB regarding transactions
  • Support business development initiatives and proposals
  • Mentor, develop and lead teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong tax technical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment, supervise and mentor team members
