Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced host to join our team on a casual basis for the upcoming season. The role will involve facilitating smooth guest departures and returns, maintaining equipment and facilities, and coordinating with our operations coordinator.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills, high motivation, and flexibility in their working arrangements. They will also have proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and a high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
  • Provide excellent customer service and create connections between people and place
  • Work closely with guides and operations coordinators to ensure seamless operations
  • Attend to tasks outside regular working hours, including afternoons and weekends
Requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • High motivation and a well-organized approach
  • Flexibility in working arrangements
  • Food handling certification (or ability to attain within first month of employment)
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • A high attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a close team environment
  • Good bush walking experience and knowledge of national parks
  • Cleaning experience (desirable)
