Job Title: Naval Sea Combat Planning Officer

Cubic Defence Australia Pty Limited is seeking an experienced professional to lead a team in delivering high-quality projects, managing planning, coordination, and delivery of Naval exercise support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement exercise documentation, including specialist annexes, for planning conferences and processes.
  • Design and develop exercise scenarios, including detailed Events, Incidents, and Injects, using exercise planning software and systems.
  • Sequence and write exercise Events, Incidents, and Injects, employing exercise planning software and systems.
  • Produce supporting staff and command post exercise documentation using defence systems.
  • Conduct micro planning and other related tasks as directed.
  • Assess training and exercise needs, develop objectives, and implement roadmaps.
  • Support defence customers in HICON and EXCON roles during military exercises.
  • Assist in training for uniformed personnel during training courses for exercise planning and scenario development skillsets.
  • Support uniformed exercise designers and planners to meet task outputs as required by changes in ADF priorities or short-notice operational contingencies.
Requirements:
  • Experience in defence exercise planning and coordination.
  • Strong understanding of exercise planning software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
