Job Overview

We are seeking a results-driven leader to head our major capital and operational projects and programs, ensuring alignment with our strategic business objectives.

This role involves leading and managing multidisciplinary project teams, both internal and external, to deliver projects and programs safely, efficiently, and within scope, time, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects and programs successfully.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, environmental, and risk management practices.
  • Oversee procurement, contract management, and governance processes to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Prepare business cases and reports for senior leadership and the Board.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, workforce planning, and resource forecasts to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Support strategic planning and stakeholder engagement across the organisation.

Our ideal candidate is a seasoned infrastructure delivery and project management professional with a strong track record of driving excellence and innovation in program execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management.
  • Diploma in Project Management or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management certification (e.g. PMI PMP, PRINCE2).

Desirable Qualifications

  • White Card, Driver's License.
  • Contract Management or WHS qualifications.
  • Auditing experience.

Experience

  • Extensive experience in construction and infrastructure project delivery.
  • Proven leadership in managing large, complex programs.
  • Strong background in contract negotiation and administration.
  • Skilled in business case development and strategic planning.
