The Role

This position is responsible for overseeing the entire packaging process, from production planning to final product delivery. Key aspects include developing and maintaining effective packaging schedules, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing improvements in safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Packaging Operations Oversight: Ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective packaging outcomes across beverage and dairy production facilities.
  2. Schedule Development: Collaborate with production plans and customer requirements to develop and maintain efficient packaging schedules.
  3. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and support packaging staff to foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  4. Compliance Management: Ensure packaging operations comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
  5. Financial Management: Optimize efficiency and reduce waste within the cost centre.
Requirements:
  • Strong Qualifications: Hold a degree in science, engineering, or a related field, preferably with experience in FMCG or dairy food packing businesses.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Improvement Capability: Demonstrated ability to implement improvements in people safety, food safety, and operational excellence.
