Job Overview

The Product Specialist plays a critical role in supporting orthopaedic surgeons in planning and executing robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using the Mako system.

About the Position
  • Serves as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborates with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conducts pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintains a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provides ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
