We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our IT Team. In this role, you will provide day-to-day functional and technical support for all end-user compute technologies across the organization. This includes laptops, mobile devices, and meeting room technology. You will also play a pivotal role in identifying areas for improvement to enhance the user experience.
Your key responsibilities will include offering first and second-level support, administering user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Azure and related systems, working with the IT team to implement and support new technologies and solutions, developing and facilitating Microsoft and technology productivity training sessions, documenting and maintaining precise records of support requests and resolutions, and delivering exceptional customer service and support to end-users.
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience as a Desktop Support Analyst or similar role, tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience. You will also need proven experience in designing and delivering productivity training sessions, certifications in Microsoft end-user compute technologies, experience with Office 365, Intune, Active Directory, and Azure Cloud Infrastructure, knowledge of ITIL, and experience with IT service management software. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are also essential requirements.
