We are looking for a skilled Ecologist with a strong background in conducting biodiversity evaluations within the NSW sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting both desktop and field-based terrestrial biodiversity evaluations
- Advising on environmental designs, including fauna connectivity solutions
- Formulating biodiversity offset strategies and performing biodiversity monitoring
- Mentoring and developing junior staff members
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams
- Producing reports that meet exceptional technical and editorial standards
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- BAM accredited assessor
- Experience in biodiversity assessments within NSW
- Proficiency in identifying NSW vegetation communities
- A commitment to leadership and staff development
- An understanding of commercial risk management in the consulting field
- Valid driver's license.
