Our team is seeking an experienced Acoustic Engineer to join our Melbourne-based office.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional to contribute to the technical delivery of noise and vibration assessments and inputs for our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive acoustic assessments, providing expert advice, and supporting the technical delivery of noise and vibration projects across various sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of acoustic first principles and be able to demonstrate technical acumen in areas including noise and vibration modeling and prediction, evaluation of results, control of impacts, and monitoring.

  • Relevant degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field such as Physics or Environmental Engineering,
  • 8+ years of applicable experience,
  • A strong understanding of acoustic principles and be able to demonstrate technical acumen in areas including noise and vibration modeling and prediction, evaluation of results, control of impacts, and monitoring.
  • Proven experience in delivering environmental acoustics-related projects; building related acoustics experience is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, including report writing and oral communication,
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.
