Accounting Role Overview

This position supports the financial team with various tasks, including profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, and customer order margin reports. Key responsibilities include variance analysis, P&L commentary, and ad hoc tasks supporting the Financial Controller.

  • Support weekly and monthly Profit and Loss reporting for business units
  • Contribute to variance analysis and P&L commentary
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare and analyze customer order margin reports
  • Prepare and reconcile inter-entity allowances
  • Manage weekly journals and assist with month-end close
  • Support annual forecasting and budgeting
  • Assist with external audits
  • Handle ad hoc and project-based work supporting the Financial Controller
The Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Currently pursuing or planning to commence CA/CPA certification
  • Holds a tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance or related field
  • Has 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting role
  • Proficient in month-end close processes
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and relationship-building ability
  • Experience in logistics is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in SAP is highly desirable
