Upbeat Heath & Wellbeing is looking for Therapeutic Health professionals to join our Multidisciplinary team. Upbeat is a Fem led, Neurodiverse and First Nations led community based out of Narm. Upbeat embraces a Early intervention approach to all Mental Health services providing Community based services, 1.1 and Community Programs.
We are seeking staff that come with experience and training around trauma informed care, Holistic practices and Therapeutic methods. Complex needs are of the norm in our space and we are seeking experienced resilient staff to help lead and be a part of our team.

- **Key Tasks**:_
- **Assistance with morning routine & transport**:
- **Assistance with afternoon transport, community engagement and after school routines**:
- **Ability to work with complex needs children**:
- **Resetting therapeutic space after / before transportation, which may include: cleaning, activity planning, activity preparation**:
- **Full-time availability HIGHLY desirable with opportunities to become full-time / part-time after trial period**
**Experience with Autistic young people **HIGHLY **desirable.
**What A Day At UpBeat Might Look Like**:
- Planning therapeutic activities based on client strength, need, facilitating and implementing the program.
- Providing positive behavioural support interventions, have a strong understanding of rationale, be familiar of facilitating play based therapies, sessions, counselling and working in a holistic manner.
- Holding and maintaining a Therapeutic home, space by using initiative, using Art and cleaning as a way to create & reset Therapeutic bedrooms & homes daily.
- Being an excellent advocate, making phone calls between systems holders, advocating and documentation in a clinical manner.
- Working in fast paced environments, problem solving and fighting for equity and equality.
- Sharing personal strengths and implementing these into daily programs.
- Hosting a dedicated hour around your strengths, eg., 3 x weekly yoga classes, dance lessons, teaching poetry, training in the gym or another moving based activity to use with our wiggly ADHD community.
