
Heavy Vehicle Driver Development Opportunity

This program is designed for women, female-identifying and non-binary individuals seeking a Heavy Vehicle Licence (HR) Driver role. The position involves operating collection vehicles, performing loading and unloading duties, delivering loads to designated disposal facilities, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, maintaining vehicle presentation, and being comfortable with manual handling and heights.
The 5-week paid training program includes obtaining a Heavy Vehicle Licence Open (HR) Manual, dangerous goods licence & EPA certification (where required), uniforms and personal protective equipment, and internal training to become a competent driver.
To participate in this program, you must hold a current unrestricted driver's licence for a minimum of 24 months, provide a driving history check with a minimum of 8 demerit points remaining, have no heavy vehicle driving experience required, be passionate about working as part of a team, possess an excellent customer service ethic, commitment to safety, and willingness to learn and work as part of a team, and demonstrate resilience.
