Key Responsibilities
  • Developing Strategic Procurement Plans: Collaborate with clients to design and implement robust procurement strategies for major infrastructure projects, ensuring successful project outcomes and minimizing delivery risks.
  • Transaction Management: Lead the procurement process for major capital projects, setting up projects and programs for success.
  • Contract Management: Provide expert contract management services to clients, from initial contract setup to managing variations and claims.
  • Client Relationship Building: Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with key clients in our target markets, becoming a trusted advisor on procurement and contract management matters.
  • Business Development: Contribute to Turner & Townsend Group's vision and mission by developing proposals to address client challenges, creating innovative new service offerings, and prudent management of financial performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead integrated advisory teams, taking ownership of commissions from start to finish, and directing and coaching consulting staff.

Requirements
  • Cultural Fit: Be a self-starter, comfortable in turning ambiguous requirements and challenges into well-orchestrated solutions, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Professional Qualifications: Hold relevant professional qualifications, such as CIPS, RICS, AIPM, or other leading project management and quantity surveyor peak industry bodies.
  • Experience: Bring a strong background in procurement, transaction management, and contract management on major projects and programs, with experience in sectors such as property construction and infrastructure construction.
  • Advisory Skills: Possess the ability to deal with uncertainty and think on your feet, with experience in working in an advisory role providing consulting services to organizations.
