About the Role

This is a senior position for a skilled professional who will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing quality assurance processes within forensic and compliance-oriented environments.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with standards like ISO 18385, particularly in forensic or laboratory settings.
  • Familiarity with manuals and processes related to food safety or forensic applications is also required.

This role involves conducting internal and supplier audits, managing environmental sampling and reporting lab results, performing trend analysis and recommending corrective actions, and monitoring risks and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and computer literacy skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
  2. Manage environmental sampling and report lab results to stakeholders.
  3. Perform trend analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve quality outcomes.
  4. Monitor risks and continuous improvement through the Event Record App.
  5. Prepare standard reports on quality outcomes for management review.
  6. Maintain supplier documentation and support reviews to ensure compliance.
  7. Oversee calibration and maintenance of equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  8. Review and update quality procedures aligned with operational changes.
  9. Assess product/process risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  10. Support development of new forensic products and kits.
  11. Record quality data using approved databases.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Familiarity with standards like ISO 18385, particularly in forensic or laboratory settings.
  • Familiarity with manuals and processes related to food safety or forensic applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and computer literacy skills.
  • Ability to work in an ISO8 cleanroom or classroom environment.
  • Sound organisational and planning skills.
