About the Role

The Commercial Account Manager will be responsible for selling outcome-driven infrastructure, data, and application modernization solutions to customers. This involves building strong relationships with customer stakeholders to understand their business drivers and selling Hitachi Vantara solutions. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of Hitachi Vantara's portfolio of products, services, and solutions to uniquely solve customer needs and become a long-term trusted solutions partner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales quotas and profitability targets.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with current and new customers to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including presales, professional services, and technical experts, to develop and execute account strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive advantage, and customer requirements to provide valuable insights and solutions.
  • Accurately forecast sales pipeline and ensure alignment with business strategy.
  • Maintain accurate account information and activity in CRM tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of strategic sales experience in IT, selling data lifecycle management solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving annual quotas exceeding $3M.
  • Strong technical and business acumen to understand customer business objectives and sell to a broad set of stakeholders.
  • Experience selling through or with partners and alliances to win in the marketplace.
  • Strong executive presence, relationship building, and interpersonal communication skills.
