Hiring a Senior Legal Specialist who will be part of our company's legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in reviewing and drafting various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.

About the Role

The Senior Legal Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice to the business, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This includes reviewing and negotiating contracts, advising on regulatory matters, and supporting the development of new products and services.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate law, finance, and Superannuation, Platforms, Custody, Investments, Managed Portfolios, and Financial Services law disciplines. Experience working in a fast-paced environment is essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies
  • Advise on regulatory matters, including compliance with laws and regulations
  • Support the development of new products and services
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide high-quality legal advice
Requirements
  • Recognized Australian legal qualifications and eligibility to practice law in New South Wales
  • At least 4 years post-qualification experience in corporate law, finance, or related field
  • Strong understanding of Superannuation, Platforms, Custody, Investments, Managed Portfolios, and Financial Services law disciplines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
