About the Role:

  • Lead strategic initiatives within a defined portfolio through to the delivery of new capabilities and realisation of benefits identified in the Business Case;
  • Manage the scope, schedule, cost, risks, issues, and quality of the portfolio;
  • Develop and manage the appropriate resource plan, manage assigned resources;
  • Create a culture of exceptional delivery performance, teamwork, and commitment to excellence that enables the achievement of team and organisational objectives;
  • Demonstrate the ability to influence cross-functional teams and build relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation;
  • Ensure portfolio objectives are aligned with strategic themes and KPIs.

About You:

  • 10 years' experience as a Program or Portfolio Manager of cross-functional, complex projects;
  • Strong financial industry background is essential;
  • Relevant program management qualification/certification;
  • Proven people management/leadership experience in a matrix project organisation;
  • Experience in management of delivery partners;
  • Agile, MSP or similarly certified practitioner will be viewed favourably.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial services sector and excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills. The base salary for this position is around $145,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits. The role is open to candidates based in Sydney and Brisbane, offering flexibility to work from home two days a week.
