Procurement Professional

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Professional to join our team and support our supply chain sourcing and manufacturing procurement activities.

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce hardware BOM cost by researching and sourcing components optimised for supply and price, managing negotiations with suppliers and securing attractive financing terms.
  • Project manage the sourcing of components including identifying suppliers, monitoring suppliers for pricing changes and stock availability, coordinating purchasing and payment schedules of stock in partnership with finance, and ensuring timely delivery to meet demand.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring key contact details are up-to-date and acting as the primary point of contact for account inquiries and reporting.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ordering timeframes, and delivery dates to keep manufacturing and sales teams informed on supply levels.
  • Support project management and negotiations/logistics related to outsourcing assembly and contract manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with Finance to understand spends per month on supply and stock holdings.
About This Role

This role is ideal for a recent electronics engineer graduate with some practical work experience or someone who has built a career in supply chain or procurement management. We are open to candidates from diverse backgrounds and adapting needs and responsibilities to suit individual strengths.

Requirements
  • Background in electronics engineering and/or technical administration.
  • Experience and knowledge in global supply chains and logistics.
  • Strong organisational skills and project management expertise to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop strong relationships with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactivity and appetite to roll up sleeves and provide actionable solutions to problems.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, growth environment.
Nice to Haves
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese.
  • Experience with supply chain ERP software.
  • Contract negotiation skills with manufacturers.
  • Understanding of import/export customs/tariffs.
