About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Commonwealth Bank as a Business Analyst, working closely with a dedicated team of professionals in the Commercial Banking division.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, overseeing applications, conducting due diligence, and modelling financial risk. You will also prioritise quality, credit management, portfolio monitoring, revenue growth, and loss minimisation.

You will support Relationship Executives to align client needs, enhance service, and strategise product offerings. You will maintain data integrity, ensure compliance, and analyse client data. You will research new prospects, manage credit submissions, and conduct annual reviews promptly.

You will assist with and address queries relating to the opening of business accounts and other associated service-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess creditworthiness and oversee applications
  • Conduct due diligence and model financial risk

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual with strong analytical skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a passion for customer satisfaction.

You will have a business/commerce degree with accounting experience and robust financial analysis and modelling skills. You will be adaptable, independent, and a team player with good communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills.

You will have the ability to quickly gain an understanding of complex transactions and to prioritise risk, compliance, and credit assurance. You will have experience in opening and troubleshooting issues related to business accounts and service-related tasks.
