About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Educator to join our team at TeamKids. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional experiences for children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Service in developing and implementing enriching programs for children, aligned with their interests and needs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, responding to their inquiries and providing support as needed.
  • Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies to promote TeamKids and build partnerships.
  • Co-manage or coordinate the school holiday program, ensuring a seamless experience for children and families.
  • Lead a team of educators, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and education.
Requirements
  • Passion for working with children, with a strong commitment to their well-being and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in outside school hours care or education, with a strong understanding of child development and learning principles.
  • Qualifications in ACECQA recognized areas, such as education, youth, sports science, social work, or health-related fields.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a positive and flexible attitude.
