Lead Coach of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Pathway Athletes

This key role plays a pivotal part in creating an inclusive and high-performance program that fosters the growth of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander athletes.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate a decentralized athlete program by monitoring state-based training sessions to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with athletic performance metrics.
- Cultivate partnerships with First Nations Engagement Managers, Pathway Head Coaches, NA staff, and cultural mentors to support holistic athlete development.
- Create and maintain a culturally safe environment in all training and competition settings, centered around cultural protocols and performance goals.
- Experience coaching at elite levels and designing daily training environments.
- Elite Coach Accreditation (or currently undergoing accreditation).
- Australian driver's license and current Working with Children Check.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and community members.
- Potential for professional development opportunities as funding submissions are made.
Initial engagement will be on a services agreement basis.
