Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

We are seeking a professional to provide clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65, working across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services.

As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types. You will form close relationships with your clients and celebrate their achievements together, every step of the way.

Responsibilities will include collaborating with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. Assessments will involve observing participants' challenging behaviours and working towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce restrictive practices.

Behavioural plans focus on enhancing quality of life by improving skills and promoting independence. A plan will be developed and implemented with training and regular follow-up and review.
