Job Description

The laboratory manager is responsible for overseeing all laboratory operations to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage resources of staff and equipment to provide timely test results for clients.
  • Implement strategies to optimize operational effectiveness and drive key productivity initiatives.
  • Conduct testing as required and maintain effective communication with management.
  • Ensure technicians receive adequate training and development in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure test results and reports are issued in accordance with ISO 17025.

Requirements:

  • Advanced diploma in laboratory techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 17025.
  • Proven experience as a laboratory manager or supervisor.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant test methods and procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and contractors at all levels.
