About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cook to lead our kitchen team at Homestyle Aged Care. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality meals are prepared and served to our residents. You will supervise a team of Food Service Assistants and work closely with the Chef Manager to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of Food Service Assistants to provide fresh, high-quality meals for residents
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and safety practices are followed
  • Maintain a safe and respectful work environment
  • Work collaboratively with the Chef Manager and kitchen team to achieve kitchen goals

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Cook in aged care
  • HLTFSE001 'Follow basic food safety practices' and HLTFSE005 'Apply and monitor food safety requirements'
  • Current and valid police check and vaccination certificate
