Business leaders are required to manage and optimize the operations of a distribution center. As a shift warehouse manager, you will be responsible for leading teams to ensure smooth and efficient logistics.

About the Role

We have two exciting opportunities available: one for the morning shift and one for the evening shift. These roles offer the chance to lead a function or shift within our Distribution Centre, managing a team of 20-50 people depending on the shift.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop their team members. They will also need to be proficient in data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading by example and promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Managing labor costs, overtime, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
What You'll Bring
  • A degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Front-line supervisory qualifications equivalent to AQF Level IV.
  • At least 3+ years' experience in managing critical functions within distribution centers and managing large teams.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a proven track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated capacity to analyze complex data, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes.
  • Sound knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
