Nurse - Aged Care Professional

As a Registered Nurse Level 1, you will be an integral part of the team providing person-centred care to residents.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing skills to residents and supporting their families, with consideration for cultural, spiritual and individual needs.
The role requires following complex needs such as catheter management, palliative care, wound management and pain management.
- Deliver high quality nursing skills to residents and support their families
- Provide leadership, support, orientation and education to Enrolled Nurses and Extended Care Assistants
- Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model in coordinating daily routines and adhering to safe practice measures in medication management

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Div 1
- Minimum 2 years experienced as a registered nurse in residential aged care (preferred)
- Experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired)
- Proficiency in decision making, critical analysis and on the spot problem solving
- Demonstrated abilities to delegate and prioritise in a fast-paced environment with exemplary communication skills
