As an Employment Engagement Specialist, you will build relationships with job seekers and employers to achieve meaningful and sustainable employment outcomes. You will establish new connections with identified employers and provide a fast and efficient service for their recruitment needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Marketing engaged job-ready job seekers to provide employment opportunities
  • Identifying employer-led demand potential relationships and fostering them with the assistance of relevant State Employer Engagement Leads
  • Attending localised networking events to generate employment opportunities for job seekers
  • Providing support and advice to employers on training and ongoing employment support, including incentives
  • Account management for current employers
  • Providing post-placement support to employers

Additionally, you will:

  • Attend and engage in community-based networking opportunities that generate business leads (during and outside traditional working hours)
  • Communicate effectively with job seekers and external parties through high-level verbal, written, and listening skills
  • Participate in site and region meetings to discuss job seeker servicing and opportunities
  • Contribute to team and continuous improvement by undertaking further training, developing links with support agencies, and participating in policy and organisational development activities

As an Employment Engagement Specialist, you must display high levels of personal integrity and professionalism when representing our organisation, demonstrate high-level time management to meet documentation and compliance requirements, and perform other duties as directed by your manager or supervisor.
