About You :
- You will have appropriate tertiary qualifications and registration as a Registered Nurse, and must be registered with AHPRA. You will also require immunisation accreditation (as approved by the relevant State/Territory Health Department) and a current driver's licence and car.
Job Summary :
This Registered Nurse position involves administering vaccines and conducting immunisation clinics in accordance with VaxWorks Health Services immunisation services protocols and in compliance with relevant State/Territory requirements and National Health & Medical Research Council (NHMRC) recommendations.
Key Requirements :
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year's nursing experience, preferably in a community-based role. They should also have demonstrated experience in the administration of vaccines to adults, and sound knowledge of communicable diseases (with a particular focus on influenza), occupational immunisation programs, and immunisation practice in workplace and school settings.
- The ability to manage post-vaccination emergencies with limited assistance, and a thorough knowledge of immunisation procedures and practices are essential.
- A well-developed administrative skillset, including the ability to operate various computer programs, and competence in the use of relevant equipment and software are desirable.

Salary :
The estimated annual salary for this role is between $80,000-$110,000 depending on experience.
