Quality Assurance Manager Role

Bespoke Foods, a food manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to drive continued growth and business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the company's Quality Management System based on SQF codes and relevant supplier standards.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and HACCP/Food Safety regulations through monitoring and management.
  • Collaborate with production teams to uphold food safety, cleanliness, and quality management practices.
  • Prepare for audits, including SQF, HACCP, and CFMSR V3 assessments.
  • Investigate customer queries and complaints, implementing corrective actions and reporting as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and data, ensuring timely updates.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in food science, technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a food manufacturing role, with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Experience with HACCP-based food safety plans and current HACCP training.
  • Proficiency in SQF training, experience, and competence.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively to resolve problems and improve systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within food manufacturing, including labeling, allergens, and NIPS.
  • Experience in internal and external auditing.
  • A high level of energy and motivation.
