About the Role

Brisbane Private Hospital is seeking an experienced CSSD Technician to join our dynamic perioperative team on either a full-time or part-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sterilization and instrumentation management in our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging, and sterilizing of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas
  • Compliance with AS/NZ standards 4187 2014 and GENCA
  • Operation, interpretation, and documentation of all machinery operational requirements
  • Reporting and documenting all quality activities
  • Ensuring priority of instrumentation and processes
Requirements
  • Sound knowledge of AS/NZ 4187 2014
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation
  • Experience with tracking systems
  • Endoscopy reprocessing experience or willingness to learn
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS Office and various databases
  • Interest in promoting best practice patient care
  • Focus on professional development
