- Manage day-to-day activities on site, ensuring that the project runs smoothly and that all necessary permits and inspections are completed.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors.
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Manage construction sub-trades and suppliers on the job site, mitigating issues as they arise.
- Requisition materials and supplies, ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are available when needed.
- Train workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Recommend personnel actions, such as hirings and promotions.
- Prepare work progress reports, providing regular updates to management.
- May manage the operations of the company, overseeing multiple projects and teams.
- Minimum 2 years of site supervisory experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in siding, flooring, painting, concrete finishing, or carpentry.
