Technical Services Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Services Leader to join our team. As Executive Director, you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver complex mining, petroleum, and gas projects across Queensland.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, particularly in the resource sector or with state-owned assets. They will also have an understanding of the economic feasibility of resource sector or state-owned asset operations.

Responsibilities will include providing strategic and tactical advice to government and ministerial staff on sensitive issues, collaborating across the public sector and industry to drive positive outcomes for Queenslanders, and ensuring public safety through the effective management of Queensland's abandoned mines program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver complex projects

Requirements:

  • Strong project management experience in the resource sector or with state-owned assets

  • Experience navigating complex commercial, probity, governance, and legal frameworks
  • Current open C class driver's license
