About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Hydraulic Specialist with leadership skills and precision to join our dynamic team. The role involves delivering technical services in support of submarine maintenance and workshop operations, including the refurbishment and servicing of hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading technicians to meet team and company objectives
  • Interpreting drawings, managing workshop operations, and utilizing IFS to meet daily targets
  • Diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing complex equipment and troubleshooting faults in complex systems
  • Mentoring others while delivering technical excellence

About You
You are a qualified mechanical tradesperson with hands-on experience in hydraulic and mechanical systems, particularly in high-integrity environments. You take pride in your ability to diagnose, repair, and refurbish complex equipment and are skilled in troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in complex systems.

Requirements
  • Mechanical trade certification or equivalent experience
  • Training and/or certification in hydraulics
  • Previous experience leading teams
  • Valid driver's licence
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance as defined by AGSVA guidelines
