Psychiatry Position in Inpatient Unit

Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical professionals with expertise in Old Age Psychiatry for a Temporary Staff Specialist role within an esteemed mental health facility on the Central Coast.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Geriatric Psychiatry
  • Lead and supervise medical trainees, residents, and students in evidence-based clinical practices
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and methodologies
  • Align with relevant healthcare values and principles
Requirements:
  • Medical qualification recognized in Australia
  • Recognized specialist qualifications, Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
  • Certificate in Geriatric Psychiatry or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
