Job Title: Business Development Manager

The retailer arm of our liquor pillar is Independent Brands Australia (IBA), the largest network of independent liquor retailers in Australia, supporting Cellarbrations, The Bottle-O and Thirsty Camel.
As a Business Development Manager at IBA, your responsibility will be to engage valued retailers, ensuring they maximise their business opportunities through our retail brands associated with Independent Brands Australia.
You'll leverage your relationship management skills to ensure delivery of key initiatives and programs, driving sales and helping members deliver brilliant liquor store experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain customer relationships within our liquor retail network.
- Sound understanding of Territory Management including call cycle, territory plan and time management.
- Managing existing territories while supporting new retail development and Greenfields sites.
- Championing state level marketing promotions, critical communications and IBA initiatives.
- Handling administration tasks such as maintaining accurate customer records, weekly sales reporting, market intelligence and cost control.
We are looking for someone with experience in liquor retail, with a strong understanding of the customer and store environment. A proven track record in sales-driven roles is essential, as well as solid knowledge of the liquor and FMCG industries.
A confident understanding of liquor products is also necessary, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness are highly desirable.
