High-Level Commercial Property Lawyer

This role is within the Employment and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) team of our organisation. As a high-level legal professional, you will provide expert advice and services to support the Department's essential functions.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality legal services and advice to clients, senior management, and staff in accordance with legislation and policy.
- Manage a high-volume legal workload, develop and ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and contribute to policy development.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent our organisation in relation to employment, WHS, and commercial matters.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to explain complex legal concepts to varied audiences, and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Law degree and admission as a legal practitioner in an Australian jurisdiction.
- Experience in employment and workplace health and safety law and familiarity with regulators and related legislation.
- Ability to provide clear, accurate, and timely legal advice aligned with legislation and policy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex legal issues.
