Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex hydraulic systems, including concept to delivery projects">
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of engineers to achieve project goals">
  • Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and engineering best practices in all design and development activities">
  • Resolve complex design challenges with fluid power systems, providing expert guidance and support to team members">
  • Manage project delivery timelines and outcomes, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results">
  • Engage with clients and suppliers on technical solutions, providing clear communication and effective collaboration">
  • Approve and oversee engineering documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards">

About You

">

To be considered for this position, you must have:

">
  • ">
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar mechanical design role, with a strong track record in fluid power and hydraulic system design">
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field">
  • Experience leading or mentoring technical teams, with a proven ability to drive results and improve process efficiency">
  • Strong project and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail and a hands-on, solutions-focused mindset">
  • Underground mining exposure is advantageous but not essential">
