Early Childhood Educator

We are passionate about creating a positive impact on the lives of young children and supporting their development and wellbeing at KU Children's Services.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will join our existing passionate team to provide education and care for children with an emphasis on building relationships and an inclusive environment where children belong, play, discover, and learn. We have six sessional Kindergartens in the Knox region and offer competitive conditions of employment.
The successful candidate will have:
- An ACCEQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood,
- Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children,
- Current Working with Children Check
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF
You will work 19 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, with mixed age groups. Shift times include 8:15am-2:00pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 8:00am-3:30pm on Fridays. You will also have 8 hours of non-contact time per week. Uniform and first aid allowance will be provided.

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
